We have multiple projects because there is so much to do for these communities. War and disease have had their toll on these villages-with your help we will build back what they have lost.

What would you give, to keep a smile like this? To receive a smile so great, please donate.

Serving Our World, together with those who have a heart to reach individuals and families in great need in rural and remote locations is bringing hope and joy to children and families.

As you review our projects you will see that our goals are to rescue children at risk, to aid and help widows, single parents and struggling families. Each day many are faced with countless obstacles and only as we work together, individuals, business owners and those that have a desire to make a difference, are we seeing lasting hope as we help build for a new future.

Thailand

Good Life Home & Center
In the Northeast of Thailand we have recently opened a new Good Life Home. What a wonderful joy to provide a campus that is over thirteen acres, devoted to rural community development in this village and the children around the area.

It’s here that boys and girls who have been abandoned or orphaned can now call home! It is a place where new hope can be discovered in a loving environment. With plenty of room to play, a fishing pond, sports grounds to enjoy and just in general once again having a childhood.

  • 10 Million Children are sexually exploited worldwide
  • 27,000 children under age 5 Die each day, (19 a minute).
  • The number of Children trafficked each Year is the same as the number of children under the age of 5 yrs old who Live in Australia. (1.2 M)
  • 640 million children do not have adequate shelter. UNICEF
  • 270 million children have no access to health care services. UNICEF
  • 90 million children are severely food-deprived. UNICEF
  • AIDS orphans have now grown to 15 million worldwide.
  • Nearly half of the 3.6 million people killed in war since 1990 have been CHILDREN.

Poverty in childhood is a root cause of poverty in adulthood.

In each facility, Serving Our World staff aim to provide professional health and dental care on a periodic bases. We also provide hygiene instruction, all clothing and all the necessities for a quality life.  Caring for each individual child as we have been given the honor to protect and provide for them as they grow into maturity.

Good Life Campus includes:

  • Fish farm to provide for the needs of not only the GLH but also to market so they can learn a trade and the satisfaction of being able to provide for their needs.
  • Rice patty that will help the GLH to be self-sufficient with enough supply to be able to give to those in need.
  • Neighborhood playground that will be a central place to build lasting fun.

It is Serving Our World’s intention to provide on going learning opportunities based on the individual’s goals and ambitions, whether it is to attend college or to get a job. If the child has extended family either in the local area or within the country Serving Our World, through trained nationals, will work to provide the opportunity for counseling to strengthen the family structure so that eventually restoration can be achieved for the child or sibling’s future.

Serving Our World also aims to maintain an on going relationship with community leaders and families to help mentor and provide the assistance and the skill training necessary to empower them to benefit their individual lives.

Children’s Outreaches
As this Thai village outreach started it began slowly, with few in attendance. Now after several years of being committed and consistent many children are receiving assistance and are enjoying meals, education and music as we are able to share each week.

The area leaders and Chiefs we have met with are so thankful for all the progress they have seen themselves in the children. It wasn’t long ago during one of these times of fellowship the area Chief, responsible for thirteen villages, told me, “We are seeing so many good things as a result of the project whatever we can do please let us know.”

For us the success is when we hear such great reports from officials and the wonderful staff we have in each location.  But it is also seen on the faces of the many children we have come to know and love in each location. Children happy and enjoying what our supporters have helped us do each month is the joy we have in serving others.

Community Events
Through out the year we host special events to help create “Gathering” times to help strengthen whole communities. Sometimes the event will center on a National holiday or an International holiday like Christmas. It is here working together with village Chiefs, who know what the needs are in the community and with area leaders, that whole villages attend to enjoy a hosted meal and local entertainment. With the help of our donors we have been able to give out hygiene products, blankets, supplies and special gifts for the children and families in great need.

Serving Our World is all about what can be done to strengthen families and the children that are in need.  Children need just one or a whole group who can lend a hand and lift them to a higher level.  Won’t you come alongside and help a child build for a better future?

Today, will you help rebuild the lives of children that have suffered and that need each of us to be involved. Your donation provides the food, clothes and all they need to enjoy the Good Life now!

Together children can have a future!

Serving Our World with your help, can make a lasting and monumental difference. The projects that we are working on will involve building schools, day centers, homes, clinics and much more. We need you to accomplish this and there are no donations too small.

And now you can give through EBAY!
We always enjoy hearing from our family members. If this is your first time to the site or you are already a family member, please contact us. We would love to hear from you!
